Resources on Grief

For anyone who may be interested, I added a sidebar to my blog with links to various resources on grief. Some of them are particularly helpful for the loss of a baby, and others are applicable for anyone experiencing grief or loss.

All of the books, cds, and websites/organizations that I listed have been helpful to me personally in my journey of grief and loss. I hope that in posting this list, others can be helped as well.

I'm so thankful that we are not alone in our grief--there are so many stories of hope, life, and strength through the grief and heartaches that so many have had to face. It's been very encouraging to me to read these. God is a God of healing and comfort and He will never leave us or forsake us.

I'd love to hear of any ways that the Lord has used any of these resources (and others--I know there are SO many more out there and I'd love to learn about them!) to help you or someone you love.

Two more that are on my list to read next are:

Choosing to See: A Journey of Struggle and Hope by Mary Beth Chapman
I Will Carry You: The Sacred Dance of Grief and Joy by Angie Smith

"Choosing to See" is AMAZING!!! I read it in about 2 days and laughed and wept through much of it. I also want to read Angie Smith's book...hopefully by the end of this year?? haha :)
