There are so many awesome ideas out there, between blogs, Pinterest, toddler activity books...the list goes on.
My goal has been to try 4-5 new activities each week. I have a huge list of things I still want to try with her...we'll see how that goes, but here are a few things we've done so far :) Some were successful...some not as much. I put * next to the ones she liked the best that we will most likely try again sometime.
*Playing with dry pasta
*We took a priority mail cardboard box and made it into a doll bed.
*Coloring on the floor with large pieces of paper taped down
It's hard to tell what this is from the picture - I taped contact paper sticky-side up onto the kitchen floor and let her walk on it. She wasn't a huge fan.
Pulling ribbons through a hole in a paper plate
* Alpha-Bits cereal on peanut-butter bread (a yummy snack too)
I tied various small objects to pieces of yarn and taped them to her tray - I would recommend using stronger tape; she figured out how to pull the whole thing off.
* "Gloop" - this one was messy but a huge hit! Just a mixture of cornstarch and water
Homemade hats out of construction paper
*Another big hit - mix a little food coloring with milk and have your child "paint" a piece of bread - we even toasted the bread and ate it with peanut butter for a snack!
*This is one you can do over and over once you make it - match the eggs with the colors on the bottom of the carton.
*First time fingerpainting!
