As of yesterday, we are now 38 weeks along...and as of today, we are 5 days (or less) away from meeting our baby girl!
Not a whole lot has changed since my last update post, so I'm just checking in to say that we are still waiting, hoping, and praying.
We are soo ready to meet this little one!
We really, really appreciate your prayers more than I can ever express.
It's still a very scary and worrisome time, but the Lord has definitely given us peace that only He can give. Our lives and the life of this sweet baby girl are in His hands.
It has been so encouraging to spend some time this last week with several sweet ladies from our church (a birthday lunch on Tuesday, Panera & coffee on Thursday, and then Friday night hanging out with a good friend and her sweet 2-month old baby while our husbands went to a football game). I have been blessed, and it has been good to stay fairly busy and be distracted too!
This morning, Tony's grandma and mom took us out to a delicious breakfast buffet as an early celebration of our 4th anniversary (Sept. 9th).
On Monday (if I don't go into labor before then), I am scheduled for my (most likely) last O.B. appt. and 38 week ultrasound. I will try to update afterwards and let you all know how it goes. Can't wait to see our baby's face again and find out how much she weighs!
And I have to share a little laugh for the week...when I was at the gym on Wednesday, an older gentleman looked at me and said one word, "TWINS?" I couldn't help but chuckle as I responded, "Nope, just one." Now that would be a HUGE surprise!
Thank you again for what a blessing so many of you are to us and especially for your faithful prayers!

not sure why she'd say 'twins'? when you look sooo tiny! But anyway, I can't wait to hear about your baby girl! GLad you have some fun things to keep you busy in these last days. =)
So glad you posted, Charity. I have been praying and praying for you and was anxious to hear.
Still praying!

It's such an honor to pray for you guys!!! Can't wait to 'meet' her too!
I can't wait!
Only a man would say such a thing. Can't wait to hear your news and find out her name. I'm also excited about the announcement at church last week! :) Praying for you!
