Jr. Teen Camp 2010

Last week Tony and I had the wonderful opportunity to go back to Junior Teen camp in the mountains. The past 2 years we have both been counselors, but this year Tony was asked to be the speaker for the week. And my job was the "speaker's wife!" It was the perfect "job" for me [being 7 months pregnant] and I enjoyed a time of rest and relaxation (and catching up on some reading) as well as getting to know many of the campers and staff and being a spectator at many of their fun activities.

The theme of the week was "Live Long in the Land," with the messages based on the Ten Commandments and following the "laws of the land." The last chapel was about how we are all "outlaws" (going along with the Western theme) and are all in need of a Savior, Jesus Christ.

As is tradition, we have a banquet the last night of the camp, and this year we all dressed up in our "western" apparel and enjoyed a delicious meal out in the grass on hay bales.
