I really appreciated Molly Piper's blog post: "When you want to say 'I can't imagine,' just try".
She and her husband Abraham (John Piper's son) lost their baby girl Felicity to stillbirth a few years ago and she does a very good job of expressing thoughts about grief. She also has several other posts in the sidebar on the right about "how to help a grieving friend."
