The mailbox was full of some painful and difficult reminders today...
Obviously my name is still on all their "baby" mailing lists.

But...I also had a great reminder of "new life" today.
The rose bush that we planted in memory of Alethia Joy has just started budding!
One of the little roses opened today and there are 6 more that look like they will open soon...

And I always love the time of year when the daisies come up...

Thank you, Lord, for the reminder of new life blossoming.
Maybe I will be able to use that formula and those coupons
sometime in the somewhat near future after all.
I hope and pray that it will be so.

Aw, Charity...that stinks. I know how that feels when something completely unexpected happens that should have been joyful, but instead only leaves your wound gaping open and bleeding again...I'll be praying for you, girl.

However, the rose bush you planted is beautiful! What a wonderful reminder of Alethia :) I pray you'll be able to use the formula and coupons in the future too. God is faithful... :) Praying for you!

I am so sorry for the sorrow that you and Tony are experiencing right now. But, He WILL turn your mourning into dancing and I can't wait to dance along with you!

Oh Charity! I appreciate the new name of your blog. Thank you for sharing what you're going through-it's overwhelming at times, for me to read (especially when I think about my own babies), but you're making me appreciate God's endless faithfulness to us, even during the hard times, and to never take life for granted. We're praying for you, too that your family will grow!

We pray for you two almost every day ! The last foster baby we had was born on Jan.28, just a few days before your sweet Alethia. Having a baby in our home that was the exact same age, made it easy to remember to think of you guys, and ask the Lord to give you new strength for each day!...even Mother's Day!
We will continue to pray. Give Roni my love, please.
