32 weeks and an interesting weekend...

Life has been busy!
Here a few of the "major" events from this past weekend:

Friday night: Christmas Party at our house--it was such a random group of people (friends from both of our workplaces, friends from church, camp, college, and more) but we had such a great time!

Saturday morning: I was awoken with a phone call that our neighbor had backed into my parked car--when I went out to look at it, it was much worse than what I had actually expected... so now we are in the process of getting estimates and trying to figure out when/how to have it fixed. Fortunately, we will not have to pay for any of the repairs since it wasn't our fault whatsoever!!

Saturday afternoon was spent figuring out the car stuff, working on Christmas cards, school stuff, and other random things.

Saturday night: Christmas party in Chapel Hill for the faculty and staff at my school

CCA Christmas Party (3)

A couple of my wonderful teacher friends, Julie and Sarah...
CCA Christmas Party 4

Sunday morning/afternoon: We visited "The Summit" church just to see what it was like and since we needed to go to an earlier service so we could head out of town.
Then we went with Tony's grandma and great-aunt to the annual family Christmas party in the little town of Faison, NC, about 1 1/2 hrs. away.

Sunday evening: Youth group--we watched "Mr. Bean's Holiday"-- a really dumb but funny movie!

32 weeks along now.. everything continues to go well, praise God!

PRAISE THE LORD you were not IN the car when it was backed into. Oh man... I'm sorry about that. What a pain. I hope everything gets worked out and you're able to get the car fixed soon.

It's so fun to see your blog. I'm looking forward to reading back a little bit over the break.

Merry Christmas!
