24 weeks.. and latest happenings in the Myers household

The last few days have been pretty eventful..
On Friday morning, just as my students were getting to school, the power went out and they decided to dismiss everyone about 1/2 hr. later. So, by the time all my students left and I finished my work, I was out of school by about 11:30 a.m. Very nice (and unexpected!)!! It was wonderful to be able to go home early, get some things done around the house, and get lots of sleep that night!
That afternoon was supposed to be Grandparents' Day, but since school was cancelled, that was rescheduled for this coming Friday.

Tony took some kids in our youth group to the fall youth rally in Reidsville, NC on Friday night and and Saturday, while I spent all day Saturday at our annual school Fall Festival. After Tony got back from the youth rally (along with Robbie Daughters, who flew in from Dubuque), we ate dinner and then had a couple over who Tony has been doing some pre-marital counseling with. They are getting married next Saturday, and Tony is officiating the wedding.

On Sunday morning, one of Tony's co-workers went to church with us (a huge praise--he has been witnessing to this young man!).

Though it is tiring at times to be so busy, we are blessed with so many great opportunities and things to be involved in!

For me, this week will be filled with p/t conferences and long days at school, but it never ceases to amaze me how God always gives me just the strength I need to make it through each day!
Tonight Tony and I are going to the state fair, so that will be a great "break" and a little "date!"

Everything continues to go well with the baby.. praise God!!
24 weeks

Hope everyone has a wonderful week!!

So glad everything is going well for you. Are you planning on continuing to work after your baby girl arrives?
