A Tour of the Nursery

We finally put the finishing touches on Hannah Beth's nursery here in our "new place." It only took us 3 1/2 months.. haha.

View when you first walk in the door:

Going clockwise around the room...

Hamper (usually full, haha), changing table and dresser, and diaper pail (and that's usually full too!..haha)

Verse up close (this is a special verse that is very true to our situation...and it is quoted by Hannah in the Bible of her beloved son Samuel)

The shelf includes many significant items, many of which were given to us by special friends and family: the dress, hat, booties, and beaded bracelet she wore, a candle we received at the hospital, her hospital bracelet, a "Jesus Loves Me" pink shoe from Grandpa and Grandma Smith for Christmas 2010, personalized Bible from Aunt Karen VK, flowers given for her 1st birthday by Mimi and Papa, a "name sign" handmade by Kristi, the blanket we wrapped her in, and a personalized hanging ornament from the Ragans.

Hand and footprints at 1 week old, comfy glider and ottoman where we spend many hours feeding, rocking, and cuddling, some reading material for both Hannah Beth and me, and a Boppy pillow, used often.
