We are now only 2 1/2 weeks away from our due date!
Some ladies (thank you, Kellie!) from our church threw us a wonderful baby shower on Sunday afternoon and it was so much fun. People are so generous and thoughtful.. we got some really nice and cute stuff!
My back has been bothering me a great deal lately, so my "best friends" have been lots of pillows to sleep with and a heating pad throughout the day. Otherwise, everything is going well with Baby Myers. We had our 37 1/2 week appt. today and she is measuring right on time and her heartbeat is strong.
The Lord knew that I have just needed a few extra days of rest--we haven't had school since last Friday! Monday was a holiday and then Tuesday and Weds. were snow days. Amazingly, we got around 3-4 inches of snow here on Tuesday, and I have found that when it snows in NC, everyone goes crazy! So different from being in IA. I'm not complaining though! It has been wonderful just to be able to sleep in and relax and get a few other things done. Much of the snow has already melted by now so I'm pretty sure we'll be back to our regular routine tomorrow.
Tony starts back at seminary with his new classes tomorrow also, and he's looking forward to that. This semester looks like it should be a little bit lighter load for him.

so glad things are looking good. i'm sure you can hardly wait. i'm so excited for you...you have much to look forward to. just hang in there the first couple of weeks, it get so much better
