A little update...

Here are just a few pictures from our trip up to IA over Christmas break. That trip was definitely the most exciting thing that we've done in the last few months. It was so wonderful to see family and friends.

Since Christmas, Tony has been busy with seminary classes (he loves them!), and I seem to be always either at school or doing something related to teaching my 2nd grade class.

At the end of January, I won tickets to go to the REVOLVE tour (basically a Women of Faith for teen girls), so I took a girl from our youth group and headed to Charlotte for the weekend. A huge bonus was being able to see our good friends Jan and Steven, who are soon to be parents!

On Valentine's Day, I woke up to a wonderful surprise.. a snow day! It was very amusing to me that school was canceled when there was only about 1/2 inch of snow on the ground (and it melted within a few hours), but was I complaining?? No!
We just have to reschedule our Valentine's Day class party for next Thursday instead (we have teacher work days until Weds.)

Today we are taking our youth group to the Winter Jam Tour (Mercy Me, Barlow Girls, Newsong, etc.) so that should be a fun outing!

We really have to get together soon! All of us have been sick for weeks, it seems (mostly Rob) but Katie had it as well. We're all better now....let us know when you guys want to hang out!

I thought that was funny when I lived down there too! I was working at Gorman Christian and if they even mentioned a CHANCE of snow, school was cancelled!
