Well, we have entered the world of blogspot!
We hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving!
Tony and I are enjoying our break from work and school.. it was much needed!
For me, this is the first major holiday I've spent in NC since we moved here. I definitely miss my family in IA, but we're having a great time here with Tony's fam.
We had a church dinner on Sunday night, then celebrated Wednesday with his mom's family and today we're spending Thanksgiving day with Tony's dad's family.
We have so much to be thankful for!
The Lord has blessed us with wonderful family, friends, jobs, seminary for Tony, a house, and the daily provisions of life. Most of all, we are so thankful for the salvation we have through Jesus Christ our Savior!
On Tuesday, the last day of school before Thanksgiving break, I spent some time with my 2nd graders just thanking God for what he's given us. It almost brought tears to my eyes to hear the children thank the Lord for many different things. What a special time!
