Pregnancy Update - 32 weeks!

I think it's time for a pregnancy update!

Hard to believe we are already 32 weeks & 4 days into this pregnancy - it has flown by (well, at least once the 2nd trimester started, it has gone fast...those first 3 months of being very sick went by sloowly).

We are looking at only 6-7 weeks most likely until we meet this little guy ~ my doctor has been talking about scheduling an induction sometime between 38-39 weeks. I'm praying & hoping he decides to come on his own like Hannah Beth did and then maybe an induction won't be necessary.

At 30 weeks along, I started going to the dr. for weekly appointments - they are having me follow basically the same appt schedule in the last trimester as I did with Hannah Beth...non-stress tests 3x per month and an ultrasound monthly. We have an ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow (Monday) and I can't wait to see the little guy's sweet face again. There are 4 delivering doctors (all female) at my clinic and so far I have met 3 out of 4 of them (one is my main doctor but there is no guarantee that she will deliver). It's not the same as going to a clinic where the doctors and nurses have grieved with us over our losses but I'm very thankful they are taking good care of us!
I've been exercising usually 3 times each week throughout this pregnancy. It's getting more and more challenging as it seems like my energy level decreases each day, but I'm going to try to keep working out as long as I can. Here's to hoping that it will help me have a quicker/smoother labor and lose that baby weight faster afterwards! I'm thankful that I've been healthy and feeling good enough to do so...certainly much to be thankful for!

Garage sale season has begun and I am enjoying getting some great deals on used clothes for both kiddos. We are on a pretty tight budget right now (going through Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University) and it's been a blessing to get much more for our money...it's amazing what you can find out there. Getting more and more excited about all these blue & red outfits (such a huge change from all the PINK we have had) and meeting the little guy who will (Lord willing) be wearing them soon! As I sit here typing he is doing "karate moves" in my belly ~ getting stronger as the days go by. Such a great feeling and even though this is my 3rd time experiencing it, it never ceases to amaze me how my belly "morphs" and changes shape as the little one moves around in there.
We were given a double stroller by some generous family members and put it together a few days ago ~ Hannah Beth couldn't wait to get in and was hoping for a ride right here in our living room! I'm looking forward to going on walks with both kiddos this summer.

I have felt a great amount of peace and calmness throughout this pregnancy...but this past week I had a couple of rough days where I felt a cloud of fear & anxiety hovering over my head..."flashbacks" of all we experienced with Alethia Joy...fear that it could happen again...and knowing that it is all out of my hands. But God is good and I am thankful for sisters in Christ that I was able to share this with to pray with and encourage me. So blessed to serve a God who will always have His way - and His ways are so much higher and better than mine.

(from Britt Nicole's song "Have Your Way"
"...And I`ll trust You, God, with where I am,
And believe that You will have Your way.
Just have Your way.
Just have Your way."

thanks for being honest. even without a loss, there were times of anxiety like this during my pregnancy, so i can only imagine the pain of actually experiencing it and then going through another pregnancy with those memories.

praying for this new little one!

you are a blessing.

I had been watching and waiting for a pregnancy update! I am glad everything is going well! Cannot wait to eventually hear your delivery story and see the pictures of your precious little son!
