We enjoyed our time in IA celebrating Christmas with my family.

We even got to have lunch with some friends from college and got to meet Charissa's boyfriend Ryan for the first time.

We are holding a little picture frame that was in Alethia's stocking. Inside it is a picture of Alethia's hand in ours, and around the edge it says, "As you live on in Heaven, you live on in our hearts."
Throughout everything that we did together as a family, there was always someone missing...our baby girl who would've celebrated her first Christmas with us.
We miss you and love you, sweet baby girl!
We know you had a wonderful Christmas in Heaven with Jesus.
