Throughout the last few weeks since the "home-going" of sweet baby Alethia Joy, Tony and I have seen the body of Christ at work more than we've ever seen before...
It has been absolutely incredible to experience the overwhelming support, love, and care of fellow believers---our church family, my "work" family, and many, many other friends and even people we've never met before.
Some of the ways that these wonderful people have shown their support are as follows: constant prayers, encouraging cards and letters, financial gifts, books written for those who have experienced the loss of a child, flowers, visits, food (and A LOT of food--I haven't had to go grocery shopping for a few weeks!), hugs, people voluntarily cleaning our house for us, and countless offers to help with anything else that we may need.
The Lord is truly using His people to demonstrate His faithfulness to us in a tangible way.
Family and friends, we want you to know how much we REALLY appreciate you.
Thank you! Please don't stop praying for us.

I am continuing to pray that the God of all peace would wrap His arms around you both and that you would feel His love and presence each day. Love you!
Charity, I wanted to let you know that Dave and I have been thinking of you guys. I've been praying. You guys are very stra=ong people and a model of faithfulness and trust throughout this time. I wish I was there to bring you a meal or just sit and listen. I am still praying for you guys.
