This weekend one of my teacher friends and her husband came over to our house for dinner. Our husbands are both attending the same seminary but they had never met before. We had a great time eating and playing games with Julie and Daniel!
My Saturday afternoon was spent shopping with Julie and another teacher friend of ours, Sarah. I was amazed at how busy the mall was, even though Christmas is still several weeks away. I guess everyone is getting into the "Christmas shopping" mode early this year, including me. I'm hoping to get all my shopping done in the next few weeks, so that I will be done soon after Thanksgiving. We'll see how that goes!!
Tony spent the early afternoon at a meeting for week and then played Disc Golf with some friends. Over the last couple of months, he's really gotten into this "new" sport...he's even attending the Disc Golf Tournament at Mountain Top Youth Camp this weekend!

I always shoot to have the shopping done by thanksgiving but somehow it never happens :) especially this year, it's all going to have to be a little more last minute!
