Winding down the school year...

It's hard to believe...my first year of full-time teaching is coming to an end.
Just 13 1/2 more days of school, and only about 9 of those will be actual "teaching days." Our 2nd grade classes have a field trip to the zoo in a couple weeks, and then the last week of school we'll have awards, clean-up, and field day!!
I'm definitely looking forward to summer break, and the kids certainly have spring ("summer") fever.

Tony has just 2 more weeks until he is finished with his first year of seminary. I'm so proud of my husband and how hard he has worked (with both school and work). What a great accomplishment.

It has been wonderful to see how the Lord is working and using us as the youth group leaders at our church. Our group started out very small, with just 3-4 kids, but the last couple weeks, we've had 9-10 kids. Very encouraging!
This morning at church we were reminded of how BIG our God is--and how small we are. It is absolutely amazing to think that God cares for and loves us so incredibly much and that "He is mindful of us."
